Give Today. Impact Tomorrow
Your contribution supports vetted nonprofits serving the Valley community.
How Payroll Deduction Works:
1. The Pledge: During an annual campaign, employees fill out a pledge card or digital form indicating the amount they wish to donate per pay period (e.g., $1, $5, or $10).
2. Automatic Deduction: The company’s payroll department sets up an automatic deduction. This happens before the check is issued, making the donation “set and forget.”
3. Consolidated Impact: The employer collects these small amounts from all participating employees and sends a single lump-sum check to the Valley United Fund on a regular basis (monthly or quarterly).
4. Donor Advised Funds: We’ll gladly make arrangements for your gift via a DAF. We also accept gifts of stock.
5. Tax Benefits: Because Valley United Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, these contributions are often tax-deductible. The year-end pay stub or W-2 typically serves as a record for the donor.
Every dollar you give is invested in Valley Alabama-Georgia region nonprofits.
